New project.. this time its gonna be more serious.. yupz.. all along my games have all been prototypes.. so now.. lets release a new game.. Its experimental.. But its goona be released.. 3 months.. that all i give myself.. I will be updating more frequently.. since i just finish my operation and is slacking at home now.. I mean.. is resting at home…
16 weeks: 1 project.. deadline: 11/11/10
1 project in 16 weeks .. Its a thursday.. everything must be completed.. Hopefully released by then.. And i’m gonna start work soon.. Hope that i would have time for this little project of mine..
Here’s a breakdown of everything:
Game Design: 2 weeks(29/07/10 – 12/08/10)
Game Design is the core of everything.. With good game design completed, game production will be much faster.. I gonna work out the game design document and get reviews from friends before making the game itself..
Iphone programming: 6 weeks(12/08/10 – 23/09/10)
As i am still learning iphone programming, it may take more time than required.. So yupz.. max 6 weeks.. and i should brush up everything and it can be released as an individual iphone app.. But i am greedy.. haha.. Iphone game first such that i can practice on using cocos2d engine to prepare myself better for work..
Flash programming: 4 weeks(23/09/10 – 14/10/10)
Flash programming.. 4 weeks is quite short i think.. plus the fact that i should start working by then.. hmm.. but i have done the iphone version before.. Should not be a problem.. Other than trying to imitate the effects in the cocos2d engine.. Like particles.. I have to do it manually.. Maybe i should use some flash engines as well..
Facebook: 4 weeks(14/10/10 – 11/11/10)
Do up the facebook in 4 weeks.. Still learning as well.. Its very basic app.. and 4 weeks is good.. Seems like everything is very very cramped..
Total weeks: 16 weeks
I will be asking some friends on the game design.. It gonna be more clear and formal.. and do up some graphics as well.. yupz.. Sorry to bother you if you are chosen to help me go through my game design..
